Mähler’s Bakery History
Founded in 1960 by Manfred Maehler Sr, Mähler’s Bakery is family owned and operated. The original retail bakery was located at the famous Farmers Market in Los Angeles, California, and specialized in European favorites. An increase in demand for the traditional artisan products resulted in Mähler’s Bakery converting into a wholesale bakery so it could reach customers all over the country.
Over the years, we have established ourselves as a premier wholesale bakery, and provide our customers with quality products. We are proud to carry on the ancient tradition of baking and look forward to serving you in the future.
Mähler’s Bakery Is Family Owned And Operated
Manfred H. Maehler Sr. has served as President of Mähler’s Bakery since founding the company in 1960. Manfred Sr. learned the bakery trade in Europe, is a master baker and has more than 50 years of baking experience. Manfred Sr. is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mähler’s Bakery.
Christian L. Maehler is Vice President of Mähler’s Bakery. Christian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and has more than 15 years of experience in the baking industry. Currently, Christian oversees the Human Resource Department as Director of Sales.
